The Holiday Inn Express New Delhi International Airport T3 needs no transfer: it is on Level 5 of Terminal 3, airside, reached from the departure halls after check-in and security. Passengers arriving at Terminal 1 with a T3 departure take the free inter-terminal shuttle or a cab to Terminal 3 first.
The Holiday Inn New Delhi Aerocity is the one Aerocity hotel with a free shuttle, for guests who book directly with the hotel; guests booking through other sites report a charge, so confirm at booking. The station is 2 minutes’ walk.
The JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity charges about ₹2,000 for its car, the Andaz Delhi Aerocity about ₹1,500 for a 24-hour car service, the Roseate House New Delhi a similar 24-hour paid transfer, and the Pullman New Delhi Aerocity and the Novotel New Delhi Aerocity arrange cars for a fee, the Novotel including one only in packages. The Aloft New Delhi Aerocity, the Lemon Tree Premier, Delhi Airport, the Lemon Tree Hotel, Delhi Airport, the Pride Plaza Hotel Aerocity and the ibis New Delhi Aerocity book cars through their travel desks at a charge and have no scheduled shuttle. The Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport at Mahipalpur, about 4 km away and off the metro, offers a hotel car booked in advance and is otherwise a cab ride.
The metro from Terminal 3
The Airport Express Line station on the lower level of Terminal 3, shared with Terminal 2, is one stop and about 3 minutes from Delhi Aerocity station for ₹10 to ₹20, with trains every 10 to 15 minutes from 4:45 am to about 11:30 pm. From the station exit the JW Marriott, the Holiday Inn and the Pullman are 2 to 5 minutes on foot, the Andaz, Novotel, Aloft and ibis 5 to 10 minutes, and the Lemon Tree hotels and the Pride Plaza about 1 km, or 750 m for the Pride Plaza; the walk is on pavements within the Hospitality District, and a cab from the station rank covers the last stretch for ₹100 or so with heavy luggage. The Radisson Blu Plaza is about 2 km from the station and needs a cab.
Cabs from every terminal
Prepaid taxi counters in each arrivals hall and the Uber and Ola pickup points, at Level 0 of the Terminal 3 Multi-Level Car Park and outside arrivals at Terminals 1 and 2, cover every hotel at any hour. Expect ₹200 to ₹400 from Terminal 3 to Aerocity (5 to 10 minutes), about ₹300 to ₹400 to the Radisson Blu Plaza, and ₹300 to ₹500 from Terminal 1 to Aerocity (8 km, 15 to 20 minutes). Pay at the prepaid counter and keep the slip; app fares rise at peak hours and in the winter fog, when the roads slow as well.
Late at night
Between the last metro at about 11:30 pm and the first at 4:45 am, the cabs run as usual and the hotel cars can be pre-booked; the arrivals halls are busy through the night with long-haul landings, so the prepaid counter queue is the main delay.
